Step 4:  Install the new controller

Install the new replacement controller and tighten 

the mounting screws (see Figure 4).

Reconnect  all  plug-in  connectors  (see  Figure  5a). 

Each connection point is unique, so the system can 

only be connected in one way: the right way.

 

Note: If your existing controller has a 6-pin connector (see

Figure 5b), the replacement controller will require use of the

supplied adapter.

Each  connector  is  a  snap  lock  type  connection 

that requires depressing a small tab to allow the 

connector  to  release  (see  Figure  2b).    Do  not     

attempt to disconnect by pulling on the wires!

Remove and save the two mounting screws that 

secure the old controller.  You should now be able to 

remove and discard the old controller (see Figure 3).
