2 Basic operation
In the following section we will provide more details of the FenixN system. We will show you
the easiest way to start up using your new device and its features.
2.1 Powering up
To turn on the device, press and hold left knob on main unit until the FenixN logo appears on
the main screen.
Once turned on, the following info screens will appear on main display:

Basic initial setup screen, where user will set next options:

Select Pilot

select pilot from internal database.

Set Elevation –
set take-off elevation.
•
Set QNH –
set current air pressure.
Info screen
•
Pilot
– that is currently set.
•
Glider –
that is currently set.
•
Reserve –
set value for reserve value for final glide.
•
FGmc –
final glide MacCready value
set value.
•
TP –
set file for turn points
•
APT –
set file for airports
•
AS –
set file for airspace
After displaying all screens, some warnings may appear, giving user access to information for
limited operation capability or device hardware interruption.
