5. INITIAL PARAMETER SET UP (User Setup)
Here you define the maximum temperature that the battery
can reach during charge/discharge. When the battery reaches
this temperature during charging, the process is interrupted to
protect the battery.
When the battery is in a charge/discharge cycle process, the
battery may become warm. In this program you can insert a
rest delay after each charge/discharge process to cool the
battery before the next cycle. The rest time can be set from 1
to 60 minutes.
When you start a charging process, the built-in safety timer
starts automatically at the same time. It is programmed to
prevent overcharging of the battery if the battery proves to be
defective or if the cut-off circuit does not detect the charged
battery. The value of the safety timer must be high enough to
allow the battery to be fully charged.
This program sets the maximum charge capacity that will
be supplied to the battery during charging. If the delta-peak
voltage is not detected or if the safety time has expired for
any reason, this function will automatically stop the charging
process at the indicated capacity value.
A beep sounds each time you press the buttons to confirm
your action. The beep or melody sounds at various times dur-
ing operation to signal different mode changes. These audible
sounds can be turned ON or OFF.
