Chapter 3
Channel 3 or 4
Component is connected to the CABLE/ANTENNA jack on the
back of the TV, and you want the TV to tune to channel 3 when you press the
corresponding button on the remote. Reminder: make sure the component’s
Channel 3/4 switch is set to channel 3.
Video 1, Video 2, or Video 3 Input
Component is connected to a VIDEO or
S-Video jack on the back of the TV and you want the TV to tune to a VID input
channel when you press the corresponding button. If you’re using the S-Video
input jacks, they will also be displayed.
Component Video Input
Compatible component video source, such as a
DVD player or digital TV converter box, is connected to the three
COMPONENT VIDEO INPUT jacks (Y•Pb•Pr) on the back of the TV and you
want the TV to tune to the component video input channel (CMPNT) when you
press the corresponding button.
High Resolution Input
Component is connected to the HIGH RESOLUTION
INPUT jack on the back of the TV and you want the TV to tune to a high
resolution input channel (HiRes) when you press the corresponding button.
Front Input
Component is connected to the VIDEO jack on the front of the
TV and you want the TV to tune to the front VID input channel (FRONT) when
you press the corresponding button.
Notes:

To use SAT2 autotuning for a
second RCA satellite receiver,
program the AUX button
using the direct entry
method and program the
5001 code. Then set up the
SAT2 channel in the
Autotuning menu.
•
To use RCA WEB autotuning
for an RCA WebTV remote,
set up the WEB channel in
the Autotuning menu.
