DVD Menu System

Digital Output

If you connected your DVD/VCR to a receiver via the Digital Audio Out jacks (COAXIAL or OPTICAL) on
the back of the player, choose both 

Dolby Digital 

and 

DTS settings

.

1. If the main menu isn’t on the screen, press the STOP button (the main menu appears).

2. Use the up and down arrow buttons to highlight 

Sound

. Press OK.

3. Highlight the 

Digital Output

 menu. Press OK (the options appear).

4. Highlight your selection. Press OK to select.

5. Press the left arrow button to return to the 

Sound

 menu or press MENU to exit the menu system.

Note: If you choose the DTS setting and your receiver, decoder, or disc doesn’t support the DTS format, you won’t
hear any audio.

The 

Languages 

menu enables you to set preferred language

options for:

Player Menus 

(the DVD Player’s menu system)

Disc Menus

Audio 

(the dialogue of DVD titles)

Subtitles

The way you choose languages is the same for each of the

Languages 

submenus.

1.

From the Main Menu, (player on, no disc playing),
highlight 

Languages 

and press the OK button on the

remote (the 

Languages 

options appear).

2.

Use the up or down arrow buttons to highlight the
option you want to change, and press OK (the languages
appear).

3.

Highlight the language you want to use and press OK.

4.

To return to the previous menu, press the left arrow
button if necessary.
