Battery Precautions:
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Always remove old, weak or worn-out batteries promptly
and recycle or dispose of them in accordance with Local and
National Regulations.

Program the remote to control your
devices
The RCA Voice Control Remote, just like any universal remote
control, needs to be programmed to operate the entertainment
devices you want to control. The Quickstart Guide shows you how
to program the remote using the built-in spoken Help system. The
other methods for programming the remote are described here.
Once the remote is programmed, you can use its built-in voice
commands with your devices and train the remote to recognize
and respond to your own voice commands.

Manually turn on the device you want
to control.

Find the Code List that came with the
remote. Locate the section for the type
of device you’re trying to program, and
find your brand in that section. Circle
the codes for your brand and keep
them handy.
3.
Press the device button for the device
you want to program. The COMMAND
light flashes once.
Turning Sound On and Off
By default, the RCA Voice Control Remote comes with the sound
on—when you press a button, the remote says the button you
pressed.
To turn sound on or off:
Press the
SOUND
button.
