The SAT•AUX Button

1. Manually turn on the the device

you wish to assign to the

SAT•AUX

button (TV, VCR,

Cable Box, DBS System, DVD
or Laser Disc player).

Find the three digit code for the
device you wish to program in
the code list

2. Press and hold the 

CODE

SEARCH

button until

the 

INDICATOR LIGHT

lights, then release the 

CODE SEARCH

button.

3. Press and release the 

SAT•AUX

button. The 

INDICATOR LIGHT

will blink.

4. Press 

TV, VCR or CABLE

for the

device you want to program. 
Important :

• For DBS, go to Step 5.
• For TV VCR, or Cable press the 

device key you want to program.

• For DVD or LD player press 

the 

VCR 

button.

The 

INDICATOR LIGHT 

will

blink again then remain lit.

5. Enter the code using the

Number Buttons.

After your code is entered, the

INDICATOR LIGHT

will turn off.

6. Aim the remote at your device

and press the 

ON•OFF

button.

Your device should turn off.

Note: If your device does not respond, try all 

the codes for your brand. If the codes 
do not work, or your brand is not listed,
try the Code Search method on page 13.

7. With your device on, press 

CH+

. If the device responds, no

further programming is
required.

8. Enter your code here 

for easy reference.

The SAT•AUX Button is defaulted to RCA/GE/ProScan DBS systems.
The SAT•AUX Button allows you to assign another TV, VCR, Cable
Box, DVD or LD. To assign another device to the SAT•AUX button:
