Troubleshooting
Most problems you encounter with your product can be corrected by consulting the following troubleshooting list.

General Problems
Unit won’t turn on
•
Press the MUSIC, MOVIES, or RADIO button, then press GUIDE.
•
Make sure the unit is plugged in.
•
Try unplugging the AC power cord and plugging it back in.
•
Check the wall receptacle (or extension cord) to make sure it is “live” by plugging in something else.
•
Something might be wrong with your remote control. Press the POWER button on the front of the unit and verify that the POWER indicator is on. If it
turns on, check the remote control solutions below.
•
You may need to reset the system. Press and hold the POWER button on the front of the unit for several seconds.
STARTING
is displayed when it is
resetting.
No sound, picture okay
•
Maybe the sound is muted. Try pressing the volume up button to restore sound on the TV.
•
If using a standard video, S-video, or component video connection, remember to also connect audio cables to the Music Jukebox.
•
If a center channel speaker is not connected, you may need to change the surround mode to stereo or press the SURR button on the remote until the
correct mode is selected.
No picture, no sound but unit is on
•
Tune your TV to the appropriate Video Input Channel (see page 10).
•
If you are using the component video connections (y, Pb, Pr), make sure you also have the composite video cable connected to your TV. (Component video
will not display the Music Jukebox’s menus).
•
You may need to reset the system. Press and hold the POWER button on the front of the unit for several seconds.
STARTING

Sound okay, picture poor
•
Check connections. Make sure all of the cables are firmly connected to the jacks..
No connection after more than 5 minutes
•
Make sure all connections are secure and try connecting to the OpenGlobe network again. If you still have problems connecting to the network, contact
your service provider.
Unit appears to be frozen or locked up
•
You may need to reset the system. Press and hold the POWER button on the front of the unit for several seconds.

I lost my password. How do I reset it?
•
Enter 722 as the password. You will be able to clear the password or enter a new one.
Unit keeps saying “Cannot Detect to Server.”
•
If you’re not connected through Ethernet, make sure you select the modem in the setup menus (see page 12).
