Front Panel
Audio/Video (A/V) Jacks
Used to connect an external device (such as a camcorder) to
the VCR. In order for the VCR to see the image of the connected device, the L2 Video
Line Input must be selected using the remote control’s INPUT button.
CHANNEL•TRACKING Up (
) and Down

Selects next higher or lower channel
in the VCR’s channel memory. Adjusts tracking when a tape is playing.
FWD
Fast-forwards the tape when the VCR is in stop mode. Searches the picture
forward during playback. Starts slow motion playback during play-pause mode and
increases slow-motion speed.
PLAY•PAUSE
Plays a tape. Pauses action for viewing when pressed during playback.
Pauses during recording to prevent recording of unwanted scenes.
POWER
Turns the VCR on or off.
RECORD
Starts VCR recording. Used for Express Recording.
REV
Rewinds the tape when the VCR is stopped. Searches the picture in reverse during
playback. Starts slow motion during play-pause and decreases slow-motion speed.
STOP•EJECT
A single press of this button stops normal VCR functions such as record,
playback, rewind, fast-forward, or pause. If pressed a second time, this button ejects the
loaded tape.
TV•VCR
Switches the picture signal so that it either comes from the VCR or the TV
cable/antenna signal.
