Screw the 4 screws that tighten the 4
loudspeaker attachment terminals until
the front flange touches the ceiling.
CONNECTION AND PRESETTING
WARNING:
loudspeaker connections should be only made by qualified and experienced personnel
having the technical know-how or sufficient specific instructions (to ensure that connections are
made correctly) in order to prevent any electrical danger.
To prevent any risk of electric shock, do not connect loudspeakers when the amplifier is switched
on. Before turning the system on, check all connections and make sure there are no accidental short
circuits. The entire sound system shall be designed and installed in compliance with the current
local laws and regulations regarding electrical systems.
CONNECTION TERMINALS
1.Fire dome earthing terminal
2.Audio input –
3.Audio input +
Connect the audio positive wire (coming from the amplifier output usually marked “100 V”, “+” or “a”)
to the loudspeaker IN+ (3) terminal.
Connect the audio negative wire (coming from the amplifier output usually marked “0”, “-”, “COM”
or “b”) to the loudspeaker IN- (2) terminal.
Note: in a constant voltage system, if the line is 70 V (instead of 100 V), the total delivered power
will be halved.
POWER ROTARY SWITCH
Set the rotary switch to either the chosen power value referring to the 100 V line
(among 1.5 – 3 – 6 W) or the 8 Ω position (for low impedance connection).
Note: if the rotary switch is set to the OFF position, the loudspeaker will be muted.
Fix the metal protective grille into the
loudspeaker front.
