Petrol version:
The motor-sweeper is driven by an internal combu-
stion engine and a hydraulic pump 1 combined by a
hydraulic motor 2 on the front wheel.
Forward and reverse direction are selected by pres-
sing on the diff erent sides of drive pedal 7 (fi g. 1).
Electric version:
The motor-sweeper drive system comprises an elec-
tric motor 3, which drives the front wheel and a
control unit 4 which controls forward/reverse direc-
tion.
By pushing the switch 8 (fi g.1) the operator selects
the direction (Forward or Reverse) of the machine.
By pressing on the pedal 7 (fi g.1) the speed of travel is
chosen ( from 0 to 7 km/h ) .

Caution!
For safety reasons, with the “petrol ver-
sion” the motor-sweeper only starts up
when the bonnet is closed. When the bon-
net presses on microswitch 5 (fi g. 12) it
switches on the electrical controls.
Note!: In the “electric version” the mi-
croswitch is integrated to the seat.

STEERING SYSTEM (FIG.12)
The motor-sweeper is steered by means of steering wheel 1. The steering wheel requires no adjustment.

SERVICE AND PARKING BRAKES (FIG.13)
The brake is used to stop the motor-sweeper when it
is moving and to keep it stationary on slopes.
The braking eff ect is provided by drums 3 acting on
the rear wheels.
The pedal control 1 is of mechanical type.
To lock the pedal in the parking position, proceed as
follows:
•
Push the pedal 1 fully down.
•
Pull handle 2 and release the pedal.
•
To disengage the brakes, press the pedal.
•
When the brake tends not to stop the motor-
sweeper, adjust it from the 4 regulating devi-
ces located under the chassis.
