CONTROLS (FIG.2)
1.
Starter key switch (electric version)
Turning the starter key on pos.1 to activate the electric system.
•
0= key can be removed
•
1= electric system on
2.
Re-coil starter handle (petrol version)
Pull the handle to start the engine (see also the engine use manual of
the constructor and paragraph “Starting the petrol engine”).
3.
Side brush lifting/lowering handle
This lever lifts or lows and adjusts the side brush.
•
Pos. A = lifting the brush
•
Pos. B = lowering the brush
•
Pos. C = Adjusting the height of the brush from the fl oor.
To adjust the height, lift the handle in pos. C and turn it clockwise and/
or anti-clockwise to obtain the right trace.
Note:
When the machine does not work, always lift up the
brush (see also “adjusting the side brush” chapter.
4. Lock knob and tie-rod for adjusting the main brushes
This knob locks the main brushes.
To adjust the main brushes, use a screwdriver on tie-rod 4B (see also
“adjusting the main brush” chapter).

6.
Vacuum opening/closing knob
Turn anti-clockwise the knob to open the vacuum or turn clockwise to
close the vacuum.
7.
Filter shaker knob
Push the knob to shake the dust fi lter when it is dirty (see also “ Dust
fi lter panel” chapter).
8. Battery charge status indicator light (electric version)
This indicator lights to show the current condition of charge of the bat-
teries. The colour of the indicator changes from green to yellow to red
as the level of battery charge diminishes.
•
GREEN LIGHT: batteries fully charged
•
YELLOW LIGHT: batteries partly charged
•
RED LIGHT: batteries discharged
9. Engine switching off push-button (petrol version)
Switches off the petrol engine (see paragraph “ switching off the petrol
engine”.
