6. Robot Installation
6.1 Introduction
The brief installation steps of RML63 robot are as follows:
(1) Determine the robot workspace,
(2) Install the robot body on the base,
(3) Install the end tool.
6.2 Important Safety Instruction
Environmental requirements of installation include
non-corrosive gases or liquids,
no dust or metal powder,
no radioactive material,
no oily fume,
no mechanical strike or vibration,
low humidity,
altitude below 1,000 meters,
avoid direct sunlight (not used outdoors),
no salty fog,
no electromagnetic noise,
and no flammable materials.
Required environmental temperature is 0°C ~ 45°C.
Required operating humidity is 25%~85% (no condensation).
Regarding floor load-carrying capacity, please mount the robot on a solid surface that
is strong enough to withstand at least ten times the full torsional force of the base joint
and at least five times the weight of the robot arm. Moreover, the surface must not
