9.4. Adjusting the seat height-adjust-
ment
•
The chair is height-adjustable to set the seat height
for the patient or to allow for the chair to be slid
over a raised toilet bowl.
•
The height adjustment over 3 positions is done via
the 4 wheel inserts in the chair frame.
•
Remove the toilet bucket and the seat cover.
•
For adjustment, we recommend that you carefully
tilt the chair on its side.
•
If possible, use a soft mat.
•
Push the footrest on the chair leg slightly upwards.
•
Use an Allen key (SW 5) to loosen the screw
(counter-clockwise rotation) in the wheel insert
completely.
•
Pull out the wheel insert until the hole pattern co-
incides with the desired setting level. Screw the
wheel insert back on (clockwise rotation). Do not
forget the safety nut on the rear. Push the footrest
down again.
Attention risk of tipping over!
•
Make sure that all 4 wheel inserts are set at the
same height and that the screws are hand-tight-
ened.
•
The chair must be cleaned before use.

11. Operation of the product
•
Before use, it must be ensured that the product is
in proper condition. If defects or malfunctions are
evident, the product must not be used. Have the
defects corrected by a specialist dealer before use.
If necessary, depending on the patient's lim-
itations (adequate mobility and muscle
strength), sitting down and getting up
must
be done with the help of a caregiver. Subsequent
adjustments may only be made by qualified per-
sonnel!
11.1. Sitting down
•
Before sitting down and standing up, make sure
that the product is securely positioned to prevent it
from slipping or tipping over, that at least two
wheels are braked, that the armrests are properly
engaged, that the seat surfaces are firmly in place,
and that the footrests are folded to the side or up.
•
The patient must po-
sition themselves as close
as possible to the product.
By supporting themselves
on the two armrests, the
patient should slowly sit
down on the cushion.
•
If this is not possible
due to their physical limita-
tions, support must be provided by the nursing
staff. If necessary, the use of a lifting aid or patient
lift is advisable
