Switching output characteristics
Adjustment conditions KFI-5-2...ETW
The probe needs 2 seconds for initialization when power is switched on. The probe is supplied without any
preset switching points. Therefore all outputs are in OFF mode. During initialization the ETW input and the
outputs are inactive.
Please note:
The measuring mode is inactive during the adjustment.
Output characteristics KFI-5-1...ETW (1 switching point):
A1 =
OFF, no reaction on the filling level

no adjustment for S1 or the adjustment was not successful (error!)
A1 = Alternating with 15 Hz frequency

Adjustment of S1 active
A1 = Alternating with 0.4 Hz frequency

A1 = Reaction on the filling level

• The switching points are totally independent from each other. The adjustment of S1 has no influence to
S2 or vice versa.
• There is no hierarchy to be considered.
• With the reset all switching point adjustments are cancelled.
