9. Getting Started
a) Inserting Batteries (or rechargeable batteries) in Remote
Control
• Open the battery compartment on the bottom on the transmitter.
• Insert 8 type mignon/AA batteries with correct polarity. On the side of the battery compartment,
there is a corresponding illustration. Alternatively you can use 8 rechargeable batteries.
To close the battery compartment, replace the battery compartment lid as shown in the illustration
below. The front edge of the rounded part is directly pushed onto the battery positioned under-
neath (see arrow).
Now the rounded part can be slightly pressed downward and toward the left, afterwards the lid
can be pushed in and it clicks into place.
As already mentioned, you can of course also use 8 rechargeable batteries instead of 8
normal batteries.
In order to be able to use the charger socket on the transmitter, rechargeable batteries
must
be inserted! Recharging normal batteries is not possible, risk of fire and explosion!
To charge up rechargeable batteries a suitable charger is necessary (not included in de-
livery). Please note chapter 8 on this subject, description to (
D
).
b) Attaching Telescopic Antenna to Remote Control
Put the telescopic antenna into the opening on the front of the remote control and screw it tight (turn
in clockwise direction). But please don’t use any force, do not use any tools to screw it in.
