j) Steering the vehicle
Operate the lever (13) for the drive function very carefully and do not drive too fast at the beginning until
you get used to how the vehicle responds.
Do not make any fast or sudden movements with the lever (13) or the control wheel (8).
If the vehicle shows a tendency to pull towards the left or the right, set the steering trim on the transmitter accordingly
(see chapter 7, pos. 9).
When changing between going forward and reverse, the throttle has to be briefly (approx. 1 second) in the centre
position (centre position = motor not moving).
If the throttle is pushed from forward to reverse directly, the brake function of the drive is activated (vehicle will NOT
reverse!).
Examples:
1. Release throttle, vehicle rolls to a halt (or doesn’t move)
2. Drive forward, pull the throttle towards the handle
3. Drive forward and then brake (vehicle slows down; does not roll to a halt slowly); slide throttle away from the grip
without stopping
4. Drive forward and then reverse (wait briefly when changing direction, approx. 1 second!)
Wait briefly
