The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with the operating instructions. We assume no
liability for any consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper use or the failure to observe the safety
instructions! In such cases the warranty/guarantee is voided.
Normal wear and tear during operation (e.g. worn tyres) is excluded from the guarantee and warrantee, the same applies to accidental damage
(e.g. broken control arm, scratched or destroyed vehicle body etc.).
Dear Customer, the following safety instructions are intended not only for the protection of the product, but also for your own safety and the safety
of others. This is why you should read this section very carefully before using the product!
a) General
Caution, important note!
Operating the model can lead to material and/or personal damage. Therefore, make sure that you are properly insured when using the model, e.g.
by taking out private liability insurance. If you already have insurance, enquire whether the operation of the model is covered before operating it.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible for safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy. It is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
• The product must not get wet.
• The model is designed for outdoor use only. The fumes are harmful to health! Never operate the combustion engine in closed rooms, not even for test runs.
• Observe the applicable equipment regulations and maintenance instructions concerning the vehicle.
• Only use original spare parts.
• Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly as it can become a dangerous toy for children.
• Should any questions arise that are not answered in the operating instructions, contact our technical support (see chapter 1 for contact information) or another
expert.
Operating and handling remote-controlled model vehicles must be learned! If you have never steered such a model, start especially carefully to get used to
how it responds to the remote commands. Proceed with patience!
b) Engine and fuel
• Pay attention to the run-in regulations of the engine.
• Only use model fuels suited for RC models. The fuel used for RC vehicles is based on methanol and oil. It contains a minimum of 5% to 25% nitromethane and
16% of oil. Never try to use conventional fuel! Never use fuel for model planes which does not contain enough oil.
• Do not touch the engine or the exhaust pipe during operation! Never touch the drive mechanism and do not stick any objects into it!
Risk of burns and injury!
• Turning off the engine: Close the exhaust pipe with an engine stopper (or use a cloth instead) to stall the engine. The fuel supply should not be disconnected
as otherwise the engine might overheat. Wait until the engine has stopped before you turn off the receiver, and then the transmitter.
• Keep fuel locked away and out of the reach of children! Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes or skin. Consult a doctor if you feel unwell! The individual
components of the model fuel, methanol and nitromethane, are toxic!
Risk to health!
• Never spill fuel. Use a special fuel bottle to fuel the model.
• Test-runs or operation must only take place outdoors. Do not inhale fuel fumes.
• Check the leak tightness of the tube connections and the tank cap before each use.
• Model fuel is highly flammable. When fuelling the truck, do not smoke. No open fires!
Risk of explosions or fire!
• Keep fuel in well-ventilated rooms only and keep it away from ignition sources.
• Only transport the model when the tank is empty! Empty the tank if you are not using the model for several days.
