Proceed as follows to go into programming mode and to change a setting:
• The transmitter must be activated/must remain switched on (don’t switch it off!). The transmitter throttle/brake lever
must also be in its neutral position
• Switch off the speed controller.
• Place the vehicle on an appropriate surface so that the wheels can turn freely. Never reach into the drive, and to not
hold the vehicle at its rims!
• Connect a fully charged 6-cell LiPo battery (rated voltage 22.2 V) to the speed controller.
• To activate programming mode, keep the small button on the speed controller pressed and then switch on the speed
controller.
Do not release the button, but keep pressing it!
• The red LED flashes; the motor beeps. Continue to press and hold the setup button. Don’t release it!
As noted several times before, the beep tone is generated because the brushless motor is activated for a
moment. Depending on the motor, this beep may be very low or inaudible. In this case, observe the LED
on the speed controller.
• The red LED stops flashing and the green LED begins to flash (continue to press and hold the setup button. Don’t
release it!).
The green LED and the respective number of motor beeps indicates which function is currently available for setting
(also see table on the last page, column „Function“).
Release the setup button when the desired function is reached (e.g. when the green LED flashes twice for function
#2 = Motor brake).
• The red LED flashes depending on the value currently activated for the setting. The motor beeps accordingly.
Example:
If you let go of the setup button while the green LED was flashing twice (function #2 = motor brake), the
red LED now flashes, e.g. once and one short beep is emitted by the motor. This will be repeated after a short break.
As the table shows, „1 flash of the red LED“ indicates the value „0%“.
• To change the setting, shortly press the setup button at the speed controller until the desired setting is selected (e.g.
„three flashes“ = „10%“).
When the end position is reached (e.g. for function #2 = motor brake, the red LED gives one long and three
short flashes), pressing the setup button again returns you to the beginning of the settings (the red LED
shortly flashes once).
• When you have finished setting a function, switch off the speed controller. All changes are now stored.
• To open and set another function, proceed again as described above.
