• Function #10, green LED flashes 2x long: Overheating protection
As present by the manufacturer, the overheating protection of the speed controller activates if a temperature (ap-
prox. +95 °C) is measured for longer than 5 seconds.
In this case the motor is switched off and the green LED flashes.
For safety reasons, we recommend that you always activate the overheating protection. When it is switched off, the
speed controller unit can be destroyed by overheating, and your guarantee will be void!
c) Resetting the Speed Controller
This function will reset all settings that were adjusted when setting up the speed controller unit can be returned to the
original factory settings.
Proceed as follows:
• Switch on the transmitter. Leave the throttle/brake lever
at the transmitter in its neutral position and do not move
it.
• Switch on the speed controller (move the slider (1) in
the „ON“ direction). The vehicle should now be ready for
operation; no LED is lit on the speed controller.
• Press and hold the setup button (2) until the red and
green LEDs at the speed controller flash slowly at the
same time.
• The two LEDs go out after a few seconds.
• Now switch off the speed controller (push the slider to the „OFF“ position). All settings are now reset to the factory
setting, see table in chapter 10. b).
The programming of the neutral position and the full throttle positions for forward and reverse driving are deleted as
well.
For reprogramming of the speed controller, observe chapter 10. a) and 10. b).
Important!
If a LiPo battery is used as a drive battery, check the basic settings of the speed controller for whether
undervoltage protection is activated (usually 3.0 V/cell). With the undervoltage recognition deactivated, the
LiPo battery will suffer deep discharge and be destroyed.
If an NiMH--drive battery is used, deactivate the undervoltage recognition.
