d) Connecting the Flight Battery
Move the control stick for the pitch and yaw functions
(also see figure 1, item 8) to the bottom position and
switch on the transmitter with the on/off switch (also
see figure 1, item 7). The transmitter emits two short
signals and the transmitter LED (also see figure 1, item
2) flashes.
Put the quadrocopter onto a straight surface (table top,
etc.).
Then connect the plug of the quadrocopter connection
cable (1) that is protected against polarity reversal to the
plug connector of the flight battery (2).
Right after the battery is connected, the LEDs of the two
rear motor arms start to flash red and the LEDs of the
two front motor arms start to flash blue.
Move the control stick for the pitch and yaw functions to
the front position and then back to the bottom position
again at once.
The remote control transmitter emits a signal sound in
the respective stick end positions, and the LEDs at the
quadrocopter and the transmitter LED are now perma-
nently lit.
If the LEDs at the motor arms do not remain lit
after activation but continue to flash, activation
has failed and must be repeated entirely.
