The vehicle does not stop when the throttle/brake lever is released
• Correct the driving trimming on the transmitter (setting neutral position).
The vehicle will only run at half speed or stop
• If the battery type selected by the corresponding jumper (see chapter 9. c) is "Lipo", the speed controller will reduce
the motor power to 50% when the battery voltage drops below 6.5 V and switch off the motor at a battery voltage
below 6.0 V. This way, the LiPo drive battery is protected from harmful deep discharge.
For the setting "NiMH", the motor output will be reduced at a rechargeable battery voltage of less than 4.5 V; the
motor will be switched off if the battery voltage drops to under 4.0 V.
Therefore, always set the speed controller for the proper battery type using the jumper, depending on whether you
connect a LiPo or a NiMH drive battery to the speed controller.
• The overtemperature protection of the speed controller has been activated. Wait for a few minutes until the speed
controller has cooled off sufficiently.
After switching on the speed controller, the LED at the speed controller will flash but the motor will not work
• Check that the transmitter is on.
• Are the batteries or rechargeable batteries inserted in the transmitter or are they flat?
• Release the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter and put the trimming of the driving function to the centre position.
Otherwise, the self-test of the speed controller cannot be completed after activation and the speed controller/motor
will not work for reasons of safety.
• For 2.4 GHz remote control systems, the receiver must be taught to the transmitter. This process may be referred
to by the terms of "Binding" or "Pairing". The teaching process usually has already been performed by the manu-
facturer; however, it can, of course, also be done again by you. Also observe the separately enclosed operating
instructions for the remote control system.
The vehicle doesn't drive in a straight line correctly
• Set straight driving at the transmitter using the respective trimming control for the steering function.
• Check the steering rods, the servo arm and its screw connection.
• Did your car have an accident? If so, check the vehicle for any defective or broken parts and replace them.
Steering works opposite to the way the turning wheel is turned at the transmitter
• Activate the steering reverse setting at the transmitter.
Driving works opposite to the movement of the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter
• Usually, the vehicle should drive forwards if you pull the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter towards the handle.
If this is not the case, activate the reverse setting for the driving function at the transmitter.
• If the motor has been disconnected from the speed controller, swap the two motor cables.
Then check the driving function. The LED at the speed controller goes out in the neutral position or flashes red when
driving forward and backwards. The LED remains lit red when driving forwards and at full throttle.
