9. Commissioning of the Transmitter (RtF-Version)
If you have purchased the racecopter in the ARF version, you may consider this chapter to be general
information and transfer the procedure to your transmitter accordingly.
Since the transmitter enclosed in the RtF-version can also be used for other models, you may download the original
operating instructions for the transmitter and the associated receiver from our website (Conrad item no. 1310036). In
this operating instruction, you will also find detailed instructions on changing the stick assignment, switching the digital
code and instructions on use with other models.
Visit the website www.conrad.com/downloads for download and follow the instructions on the website.
In the further course of these instructions, figures in the text always refer to the adjacent figure or the figures
within the section. References to other figures are indicated with the corresponding figure number.
a) Inserting the Batteries into the Transmitter
The power supply of the transmitter requires 4 Mignon batter-
ies (e.g. Conrad item no. 652506, order 4x).
The battery compartment lid is located on the back of the
transmitter.
Press the corrugated area and push off the lid downwards.
Now put the 4 batteries (1) in the battery compartment.
Always make sure the polarity of the batteries is correct. The
polarity is indicated at the bottom of the battery compartment.
Then put the cover of the battery compartment back on and
let it snap into place.
Observe:
Due to the lower nominal voltage of the rechargeable batteries (nominal voltage of the battery = 1.5 V,
rechargeable battery = 1.2 V), the transmitter will be operational for much less. We therefore recommend
operating the transmitter with batteries at all times and not using rechargeable batteries for reasons of
operating safety.
