b) Transmitter (RtF-Version)
• Always replace the whole set of batteries in the transmitter. Do not mix full batteries with half-full ones.
Always use batteries/rechargeable batteries of the same type and manufacturer. Never mix batteries and
rechargeable batteries!
• When using rechargeable batteries in the transmitter, the operating duration will reduce strongly due to the
low voltage (rated voltage of the battery = 1.5 V, rechargeable battery = 1.2 V). We recommend operating
the transmitter with batteries instead of rechargeable batteries at all times for reasons of operating safety.
• If you do not use it for any extended period of time (e.g. during storage), remove the batteries inserted in
the transmitter to prevent damage from leaking batteries/rechargeable batteries.
c) Racecopter
• Use only a 3-cell LiPo flight battery with a nominal voltage of 11.1 V for the Racecopter (recommended
battery capacity 1300 mAh; discharge rate 25C).
• After the flight, disconnect the flight battery from the racecopter. Do not leave the rechargeable flight bat
-
tery connected to the racecopter if the model is not in use (e.g. during transport or storage). Otherwise,
the flight battery may be fully discharged and is thus destroyed/unusable!
• Remove the flight battery from the model for recharging. Never recharge the flight rechargeable battery
unattended.
d) LiPo-Flight Battery (RtF-Version)
• Charge only an intact and undamaged flight battery. If the outer isolation of the flight battery is damaged or
the flight battery is deformed or bloated, it must not be charged. There is acute danger of fire or explosion!
• Never damage the flight battery covering, do not cut the foil cover, do not probe the rechargeable battery
with sharp objects. There is a risk of fire and explosion!
• Never charge the enclosed flight battery immediately after use. Always let the flight battery to cool down
until it has reached room or ambient temperature again.
• Disconnect the flight battery from the charger when it is fully charged.
