14. Installation of Camera and FPV Transmitter
The racecopter is prepared for holding an FPV-system ("First Person View"). This way, you can view the flight of
the racecopter in connection with video glasses as if you were sitting directly in the "cockpit". The camera, the FPV
transmitter and the required accessories are not part of the RtF or ARF version, but must be purchased separately.
Observe the statutory provisions of your country for the FPV flight.
For video transfer from the racecopter to the pilot, e.g., the following accessories are needed:
• Camera
• 5.8 GHz-transmitter and matching aerial
• Monitor and/or video goggles
• 5.8 GHz-receiver and matching aerial
For the ground station, you can use a screen or video glasses, or both (provided that the receiver has two separate
video outputs for this).
If the video glasses already have a 5.8 GHz receiver installed, you do, of course, not need any separate
receiver. The video goggles may even offer a video output that can be used to record the video signal.
The following figures show examples of components that can be installed in the racecopter.

2 5.8 GHz-FPV-transmitter
