15. Use of Your Own Remote Control System
(ARF-Version)
The racecopter in the ARF-version (item no. 1409645) is delivered with a pre-configured CC3D-flight controller. The
CC3D flight controller is based on the "OpenPilot"/"LibrePilot" software and can be configured using this. You need to
adjust your remote control to the CC3D flight controller for this.

To connect the racecopter to the "OpenPilot"/"LibrePilot" software, you need a suitable USB cable (USB-plug type A
to miniUSB-plug) and the above configuration software.
Attention!
Remove the propellers of the racecopter when configuring it. Uncontrolled sudden start-up of the propellers
may cause considerable damage to you and your environment.
Establish the usual basic configuration at your transmitter and connect the transmitter to your receiver. It is recom

mended to put all trims into the neutral position.
a) Connection with the Receiver
Connect the connection cable of the CC3D flight control to your receiver. The following figure shows the occupation of
the flight control at the 6-pin plug (observe order).

CH5 -> Flight mode
3 Green cable:
CH4 -> Yaw function
4 Yellow cable:
CH3 -> Pitch function
5 Violet cable:
CH2 -> Nod function
6 Black-white-red cable:
