d) Resetting the Speed Controller
This function will reset all settings that were adjusted when setting up the speed controller unit to the original factory
settings (see grey marker in the table in chapter 11. b).
Proceed as follows:
• Switch on the transmitter. Leave the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter in its neutral position (middle position) and
do not move it.
• Switch on the speed controller ("ON"). The vehicle
should now be ready for operation; no LED is lit on the
speed controller, and the vehicle stands still.
• Press and hold the setup button (B) (more than 3 sec
-
onds) until the red and green LEDs at the speed control-
ler flash slowly at the same time.
• The two LEDs go out after a few seconds.
• Switch off the speed controller ("OFF") now.
All settings of the speed controller are then reset to the
factory settings.
For reprogramming of the speed controller, observe chapter 11. a) and 11. b).
Important!
If a 2-cell or 3-cell LiPo drive battery is used to operate the vehicle, check the basic settings of the speed
controller for whether undervoltage protection is activated (usually 3.0 V/cell). With the undervoltage recog-
nition deactivated, the LiPo drive battery will suffer deep discharge, which will cause permanent damage to
it.
When using a NiMH drive battery, the undervoltage recognition should be deactivated.
