Also check the model for damage before each use. If you find any damage, the car may not be used any
-
more and has to be taken out of operation.
Only original spare parts must be used to replace worn vehicle parts (e.g. tyres) or defective vehicle parts
(e.g. a broken transverse link).
Other maintenance work:
• If the vehicle is not operated for an extended period, put 2 - 3 drops of afterrun oil into the motor through the glow
plug opening. Then turn the motor a few times by the cable pull. The special care oil removes aggressive combus-
tion residue and protects the motor from corrosion.
• If the vehicle is transported or no longer used, remove the fuel from the tank. Use, e.g. the corresponding electrical
tank pump for model vehicles for this.
The fuel is not only a safety risk (danger of fire and explosion) but draws moisture if standing for a longer time or the
methanol/nitromethane will evaporate. This leads to starting problems or a badly running motor.
c) Wheel Change
A matching socket wrench is required for wheel
change.
When screwing on the wheel, observe that the nut is
grooved on one side.
This grooved side must point to the wheel/rim and
serves to protect against independent loosening of
the nut.
Do not tighten the nut forcefully, however.
