16. Maintenance and Care
Clean the exterior of the model and the remote control only with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use abrasive cleaning
agents or chemical solutions as these could damage the surfaces of the casings.
The propellers must move smoothly and the motor shafts must neither be bent nor have any play in their bearings.
Propellers that are torn, snapped off or where small parts have broken off must always be replaced.
Replacing the propellers
The propellers (1) are only pushed onto the motor shafts
(2) and can be gently pushed upwards off of the shaft with
a flat-head screwdriver.
Ensure that the motor shaft is not bent when pulling it off.
When selecting the new propeller, always observe the ro-
tating direction (see the lower figure).
Two propellers turn counter-clockwise (A) and two propel-
lers turn clockwise (B) when viewed from above.
The new propeller is pushed not the motor shaft straight
from above and gently pushed on to the stop.
Important!
Do not apply any unnecessary force or unsuit-
able tools.
When replacing mechanical parts use only original spares
available from the manufacturer.
The spare parts list is located on our internet website
www.conrad.com in the download section for the respec-
tive product.
You can also order the replacement parts list by phone. For
contact information, please refer to chapter "Introduction"
at the beginning of these operating instructions.
