d) Taking photos
To take a photo, briefly press the push button for the video/photo function (see Figure 1, no. 10). The remote control
emits a short beep as confirmation. To confirm image recording, the two red LEDs on the rear of the quadrocopter
briefly switch off and then turn on permanently again. In addition, the blue LED on the video transmission module
briefly switches off and on again.
e) Reading videos and photos
After landing, disconnect the flight battery from the quadrocopter and remove the memory card from the card slot. The
photo and video data can then be read using a memory card reader (not included) on a notebook or a PC.
Photos and videos are stored in separate folders on the memory card.
Pay attention to the following tips for the use of the camera:
•
When you are not using the camera, remove the memory card from the card slot.
• Make sure that the quadrocopter’s flight battery is not connected when inserting or removing the memory card.
Otherwise, data on the memory card could be damaged.
•
Do not touch the contacts on the back of the memory card.
•
The memory card must be correctly and completely inserted into the card slot, otherwise it may be damaged.
•
Pay attention to the legal principles of your country regarding the creation of photos and video recordings of per-
sons, objects and facilities as well as the publication of such photos and videos. You accept sole responsibility for
the case that rights, laws or ordinances are violated by the use of the camera.
