d) Putting the vehicle and transmitter into operation
Release the throttle/brake lever (5) on the transmitter so that
it is in the centre (neutral) position. Also release the steering
wheel (1). Set the trim controller (2) on the transmitter to the
centre position.
Switch the vehicle off with the On/Off switch on the bottom
(switch position "OFF" = off) if you have not already done so.
Connect the battery connector (A) to the corresponding con-
nection (B) of the vehicle.
Switch the vehicle on with the On/Off switch (switch position
"ON" = on). To indicate functionality, the front wheels are
briefly activated by the steering servo. A red LED on the top
of the vehicle flashes quickly.
Switch the transmitter on with the On/Off switch (3). The function LED (4) on the transmitter flashes. This indicates that
the transmitter is attempting to connect to the receiver.
After a few seconds, the function LED on the transmitter and the LED on the top of the vehicle must light up continu-
ously. This indicates that the transmitter is connected to the receiver (this is known as "pairing").
Check the drive mechanism and steering functions of the vehicle, move, for example, the steering wheel to the left or
right or carefully actuate the throttle/brake lever.
Do not hold the vehicle at its wheels, do not touch the drive mechanism.
f) Attaching the body
Position the body on the vehicle and fix it in place with the clips removed at the beginning.
