13. Quadrocopter take-off
Start up the quadrocopter and the remote control transmitter as described above. The blue LED on the transmitter and
the LEDs on the quadrocopter must glow steadily.
When you carefully move the left joystick up/forwards from the lower position, the propellers will start and their speed
will increase until the quadrocopter takes off.
With the right joystick, you can easily correct any drift forwards or backwards or to the side.
Once the desired flight altitude has been reached, move the left joystick backwards slightly so that the quadrocopter
hovers at the same altitude. The altitude can now be controlled separately with the left joystick.
Warning!
Do not jerk the left joystick downwards/backwards, otherwise the quadrocopter will decrease its flight alti
-
tude very quickly and crash heavily to the ground. If necessary, reduce the flight altitude slowly and gently
until the quadrocopter lands safely.
If you move the left joystick all the way down or backward, the propeller motors will turn off.
