15. Calibration of position sensors
If the quadrocopter does not hover steadily in the same position or the trim has to be adjusted significantly, the position
sensors in the model have to be re-calibrated.
Proceed as follows:
First switch on the quadrocopter and then the transmitter.
Move the left joystick back and forth to get the quadrocop-
ter ready to start.
Place the quadrocopter on a flat, horizontal surface.
Then move the two joysticks of the transmitter to the lower
left corner and hold them in this position.
Shortly thereafter, the four LEDs on the quadrocopter will
start to flash repeatedly.
When the LEDs glow steadily again, the calibration is
complete and the joysticks can be released.
Check with a test flight whether the quadrocopter is still
showing a strong tendency to fly in a particular direction. If
required, repeat the calibration process.
