21. Adjusting the camera angle
The higher the rear part is raised, the faster the quadrocopter will fly forward. The lifting force thus increasingly turns
into the propulsion. The angle of inclination of the camera can be individually adjusted by hand so that the pilot can still
clearly see the quadrocopter's flight direction through the goggles at any speed or angle of inclination.
When the quadrocopter is hovering, the camera (1) must
be set all the way down (see dark arrow). The greater the
speed of the model, the higher the camera must be set
(see light arrows).
For maximum flight speed, set the camera all the way up
(see Figure 27).
22. Assembling the race track markings
If you can reliably control the quadrocopter in FPV mode, you can use the supplied race track markings. The package
includes a launch platform, a gate and a turning mark.
The parts made of coated foam must be assembled before first use.
The sketch in Figure 28 on the next page shows the assembly procedure step by step.
Important:
Use a suitable foam adhesive to attach 12 reinforcement parts (1 – 6 two pieces per number) to the cut
points of the gate. In case of doubt, perform an adhesion test for the remaining material before assembling
all parts.
All 12 reinforcement parts for the gate are numbered so that the parts can be glued correctly.
