c) Familiarisation with "gas"
Connect the charged battery to the quadrotor helicopter. This begins with a self-test and directly afterwards with the
familiarisation of the channels. On the basis of the gas setting, the quadrotor helicopter automatically recognises
which channel you would like to use for the gas.
As a confirmation, the red LED of the quadrotor helicopter flashes in 2 rhythms (2 x short flashes, then a longer pause,
then 2 x short flashes again etc.)
d) Familiarisation with "yaw"
Now move the yaw lever (see picture 12) to the left
to full scale and hold it there for at least one se-
cond.
The quadrotor helicopter thus recognises the YAW
channel and memorises this.
Move the YAW lever back to neutral position with
the GAS still on zero.
As confirmation, the quadrotor helicopter’s red LED
flashes in a cycle of 3s (3x short flashes, then a
pause etc.)
During the respective configuration
step, the green LED shows the channel
as long as the lever is still operated!
However, only the red LED is important
for the progress indicator!
During the familiarisation process, please ensure that you only move the required lever, otherwise the setting will not
be recognised!
e) Familiarisation with "pitch"
Move the PITCH lever (see picture 13) to full scale
for GIVE PITCH upwards and hold it there for at
least one second.
The quadrotor helicopter thus recognises the
PITCH channel and memorises this. Move the
PITCH lever back to neutral position, continue to
leave the GAS on zero.
As confirmation, the quadrotor
helicopter’s red LED flashes in a cycle
of 4s (4x short flashes, then a pause
etc.)
