9. Commissioning
a) Removing the car body
The car body is secured with attachment clips which must be pulled out of the retaining pins. The car body can then be
taken off.
b) Installing the receiver antenna cable
The receiver's antenna cable is normally rolled up on delivery. Unwrap the antenna cable completely and smoothen it
carefully.
Guide it through the antenna tube and plug the antenna tube into the attachment on the vehicle.
If a rubber cap is enclosed for the antenna tube, it prevents the dislocation of the cable after attachment on the tip.
Make sure that the antenna cable does not protrude into the drive.
Never shorten the antenna cable as this reduces the range. Do not wrap up excess antenna cable that
does not fit into the antenna tube! Simply let it hang loosely out of the top of the antenna tube.
c) Inserting the battery pack into the vehicle
Attention!
The rechargeable battery pack may not yet be connected to the drive control.
The vehicle requires a standard 6-cell racing pack (NiCd or NiMH). The rechargeable battery pack is fixed in place with
a plastic strip that is secured with two attachment clips.
Insert the rechargeable battery pack in such a way that the connection cable does not protrude into the steering
mechanics or the drive.
d) Inserting batteries (or rechargeable batteries) in the transmitter
If you have not done so already, insert the rechargeable batteries/normal batteries into the transmitter. Please observe
the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-), see imprint in the transmitter's battery compartment. To open the battery
compartment, side the battery compartment cover to the front and then take it off.
