• Only use faultless tools suitable for the assembly of the model.
• Proceed with patience!
• If you have never assembled such a vehicle, have someone more experienced (e.g. a model-making friend) help
you. Especially when taking up model making, some tips and advice of a professional can help tackle a lot of
problems easily.
c) Operation
• Whenever you use the product, first make sure that there are no other models operated on the same frequency
within the range of the remote control. Control of the wireless models will be lost! Always use a different frequency for
every model.
• Before operation, the forward and reverse trim settings as well as the steering trim settings have to be checked and
- if necessary - adjusted.
This is why the wheels of the vehicle must not be placed on the ground yet when the vehicle is put into operation (the
remote control and the vehicle are switched on). Place the vehicle on a suitable support that allows the wheels to
turn freely (do not touch the driving mechanism!).
After that, adjust the trim so that the motor no longer turns when you let go of the throttle (neutral position) and the
steering is straight (the precise settings for driving straight ahead can be made later when driving).
• When putting the device into operation, always switch on the remote control (transmitter) first. Then connect the
battery pack of the vehicle with the speed controller/receiver and switch on the model. Otherwise the speed controller/
receiver might act unexpectedly which might lead to unexpected behaviour of the model!
Pull out the telescopic aerial of the remote control completely. If you are using a 2.4 GHz remote control, put the
aerial in a vertical position (provided the remote control is equipped with a folding aerial).
• Improper operation can cause serious personal injury or material damage! Only drive when the model is in direct
visible contact. Do not operate the model at night.
• Only drive when your ability to react is unrestricted. Fatigue or the influence of alcohol or medication can lead to
false responses as is the case when driving a real vehicle.
• Please note that this model vehicle must not be used on public roads or streets. Only operate it on private property
or in places designated for this purpose.
• Do not drive towards animals or people!
• Do not drive in the rain, through wet grass, water, mud or snow. The model is not waterproof or watertight.
• Also avoid driving at very low outdoor temperatures. In a cold environment the plastic of the vehicle body and the
chassis can lose its elasticity. If that happens, otherwise insignificant accidents may cause damage to the model.
• Do not drive in the case of a thunderstorm, under high-voltage power lines or in the proximity of radio masts.
• Do not take any risks when operating the product! Your own safety and that of your surroundings depend on your
responsible handling of the model.
• Always leave the remote control (transmitter) turned on as long as the model is in operation. To turn off the vehicle,
always turn off the vehicle first and separate the battery pack from the speed controller/receiver. Only then may the
remote control be turned off.
