l) Battery attachments
Install the two battery attachments on the left and the right of the 6 holes in the chassis. For this purpose, use 2
countersunk tapping screws each. The battery pack is later secured with a cross member and two holding clips.
m) Hex hubs and wheels
Insert the remaining 4 small ball bearings from the outside
into the axle legs, if you have not already done so. Then
stick the metal pin through the hole in the wheel axle. Put
the plastic nut onto the metal pin.
Make sure that the nut is attached properly - the slotted
side must be pushed over the metal pin. Power transmission
to the wheel is effected through the metal pin and the plastic
nut.
Put a wheel onto every axle and screw on the stop nuts.
Make sure the stop nut is aligned properly with the rounded
side pointing outward.
Do not screw the stop nut too tight. Otherwise the drive will
be inhibited. This reduces acceleration/speed and driving
time and the components wear out faster.
