14. Return home function
The quadrocopter has a return home function in which it automatically flies backwards - i.e. in exactly the opposite
direction to the one established as forwards when it was turned on (see white arrow in Figure 23, Diagram A). As
with the headless mode, the direction the front of the quadrocopter is facing at the time is not a factor (see Figure 23,
Diagram B).
Important!
The return home function should only be activated if the quadrocopter has flown too from the pilot in the
previously defined forward direction and the pilot is in line with the quadrocopter facing forwards. If the
quadrocopter has flown to the side, it could fly past the pilot when the return home function is activated and
therefore end up further away (see Figure 23, Diagram C).

To activate the return home function, press and hold the push button for the headless/return home function (see
Figure 22, no. 14).
To show that the return home function has been activated, the transmitter emits a short beep.
The quadrocopter tilts backwards and starts to fly backwards. At the same time, the LEDs on the quadrocopter flash.
Once the quadrocopter has flown far enough backwards, push the joystick for the bob and roll function (see Figure 1,
no. 3) in any direction and the return home function is automatically ended.
The LEDs on the quadrocopter remain on permanently.
