15. Start-up of the built-in HD camera
The quadrocopter has a built-in HD camera, which is aligned forwards in the direction of flight. Using this camera, you
can save videos and photos on a microSD memory card (not included; can be ordered separately) during flight. To
start and stop video recording or the taking of photographs, press the push button for the video/photo function (see
Figure 1, no. 9).
a) Inserting/removing the memory card
First switch off the quadrocopter.
Turn the quadrocopter onto its back and push the memory
card (1) into the card slot on the underside of the quadro-
copter (2), as seen in the adjacent diagram.
The receiver antenna (3) has been removed
from the bracket (4) so that the diagram is
clearer.
The contacts of the card must face downwards as shown
in the top diagram in Figure 24.
When you push the card all the way in with your fingertip,
it is automatically locked in place.
To remove the card, press on the card again with your
finger (see lower image in Figure 24). The locking mecha
-
nism releases, and you can then carefully pull the card
out of the slot.
Attention, important!
Pay attention to whether the red LED (see Fig-
ure 10, no. 1) lights up when the quadrocopter
is switched on. The camera function can also
be switched off with the push button for the WiFi
function (see Figure 1, no. 12).
The lens can be carefully adjusted vertically to achieve the
correct angle of inclination for the camera (see Figure 10).
