Stop driving immediately if you notice any unusual reactions of the vehicle to the transmitter’s control
commandsor if the vehicle has stopped responding. This behaviour could be due to a weak drive battery,
low batteries/rechargeable batteries in the transmitter or the distance between the vehicle and transmitter
is too large.
In addition, a wrapped/damaged receiver antenna, interferences on the radio channel being used (e.g.
radio transmissions from other devices, Bluetooth, WLAN) or adverse transmission/reception conditions
can be a cause for an unusual response of the vehicle.
Since the receiver’s power is supplied by the speed controller/drive battery, a weak or empty drive battery
leads to unwanted movements of the vehicle (e.g. twitching of the steering servo etc.).
For example, the drive battery‘s voltage is briefly reduced at full throttle so that the recipient does not any
longer receive the required operating voltage. The vehicle accelerates, but the steering servo does not
respond properly. Then stop the operation of the vehicle immediately and use a new full drive battery.
j) Ending the trip
To stop driving, proceed as follows:
•
Release the throttle/brake lever on the transmitter, such that it is placed in the neutral position and allow the vehicle
to roll out.
•
After the vehicle stands still, turn off the speed controller (switch position „OFF“).
During this operation, do not reach into the
wheels or the drive and do not move the thrott-
le/brake lever on the transmitter under any cir-
cumstances! Do not hold firmly the vehicle by
the wheels!
Attention!
During operation, the motor, speed controller
and drive battery will become very hot! There-
fore, do not touch them immediately after the
trip, danger of burns!
•
Disconnect the drive battery from the speed controller. Loosen the plug connection completely.
•
The transmitter may only now be turned off.
