9. Setup
a) Removing the chassis
Remove the clips and lift the chassis off the vehicle. Gently loosen the plug connection to the two LED strips on the
body.
b) Installing the antenna cable for the receiver
The antenna cable of the vehicle may not yet be routed
through the antenna tube, or the antenna tube can be
provided separately.
In this case, guide the antenna cable through the antenna
tube and insert it into the corresponding holder next to the
receiver box, as shown by the arrow in the right figure.
Use the rubber cap on the upper end of the antenna tube
to secure the antenna cable.
For a long range, the antenna should protrude as vertically
as possible from the vehicle (the transparent cable piece
at the end of the antenna cable).
For protection, the antenna cable may still be in the receiver box upon delivery of the vehicle. In this case, open the
receiver box by first pulling out the safety clips and then removing the cover of the receiver box.
Be sure that you do not damage the antenna cable. Never cut the antenna cable! Never wind the aerial
cable! This significantly reduces the transmission range.
c) Inserting batteries/rechargeable batteries into the remote control
Open the battery compartment on the remote control and insert new or fully charged batteries. Ensure that the
batteries are inserted in the correct polarity (observe the po and negative/- markings). Replace the battery
compartment cover.
Read the remote control instructions included with the product.
d) Configuring the remote control
Switch on the remote control and set the steering and throttle trim to the central position.
If the remote control has a dual rate feature, disable it or adjust it so that the steering angle is not limited.
Read the remote control instructions included with the product.
