5. Safety instructions
The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with
the operating instructions. We assume no liability for any consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper
use or the failure to observe the safety instructions! In such cases the warranty/guarantee is
voided.
Normal wear and tear during operation (e.g. worn tires) is excluded from the guarantee and
warrantee, the same applies to accidental damage (e.g. broken transverse control arm, scratched
or destroyed vehicle body etc.).
Dear Customer, the following safety instructions are intended not only for the protection of the product,
but also for your own safety and the safety of others. This is why you should read this section very
carefully before using the product!
a) General
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible for safety and approval reasons
(CE).
• The product is not a toy. It is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
• The product must not become damp or wet.
• Taking out private liability insurance is recommended. If you already have insurance, enquire whether the operation
of the model is covered.
• Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly as it can become a dangerous toy for children.
• Should any questions arise that are not answered in the operating instructions, contact our technical support (see
chapter 1 for contact information) or another expert.
Operating and handling remote control model vehicles must be learned! If you have never steered such
a model, start especially carefully to get used to how it responds to the remote commands. Proceed
with patience!
b) Operation
• Whenever you use the product, first make sure that there are no other models operated on the same frequency
within the range of the remote control. Control of the wireless models will be lost! Always use different frequencies.
• Before operation, the forward and reverse trim settings as well as the steering trim settings have to be checked and
- if necessary - adjusted.
This is why the wheels of the vehicle must not be placed on the ground yet when the vehicle is put into operation;
place the vehicle on a suitable support that allows the wheels to turn freely (do not touch the driving mechanism!).
After that, adjust the trim so that the motor no longer turns when you let go of the throttle or the steering is straight
(the precise settings for driving straight ahead can be made later when driving).
