6. Safety Information
In case of damage caused by non-compliance with these operating instructions, the warranty/
guarantee will expire. We do not assume any liability for consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by
improper use or the failure to observe the safety instructions! In such cases the warranty/
guarantee will expire.
Normal wear and tear during operation (e.g. worn/damaged wheels, worn gears) and damage from
accidents (e.g. broken chassis.) are excluded from the guarantee and warranty.
Dear customer, these safety instructions are not only for the protection of the product but also for your
own safety and that of other people. Therefore, read this chapter very carefully before taking the product
into operation!
a) General Information
Caution, important note!
Operating the model may cause damage to property and/or individuals. Therefore, make sure that you
are sufficiently insured when using the model, e.g. by taking out private liability insurance. If you
already have private liability insurance, verify whether or not operation of the model is covered by your
insurance before commissioning your model.
• For safety and licensing (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modifications to the product are not
permitted.
• The product is not suitable for children under 3 years of age. It has sharp edges and small parts that can be
swallowed. We recommend use for children 8 years and older under supervision of adults.
• The product must not become damp or wet. There is danger to life from electric shock due to the plug-in
charger!
• The plug-in charger is constructed pursuant to protection category II. Only a proper plug-in charger must be
used as voltage source for the plug-in mains adapter.
The socket to which the plug-in charger is connected must be easily accessible.
• Do not pull the plug-in charger from the mains socket at the cable. Take it at the side of the housing and pull it
from the socket then.
• If the plug-in charger is damaged, do not touch it. Danger to life from electric shock!
First switch off the mains voltage for the mains socket to which the plug-in charger is connected (switch off the
corresponding circuit breaker or turn out the fuse, then switch off the FI protection switch so that the mains
socket is separated from the mains voltage on all poles).
Then unplug the plug-in charger from the mains socket. Dispose of the damaged plug-in charger in an
environmentally compatible way. Do not use it anymore. Replace it with a new plug-in charger of the same
specifications.
• Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly as it can become a dangerous toy for children.
• Handle the product with care; impacts, shock or fall even from low heights will damage it.
