18. Troubleshooting
Even though the model and the remote control system were built with the latest available technology, there may still
be malfunctions or faults. We would, therefore, like to show you how to correct potential faults.
Problem
Remedy
Transmitter doesn’t respond. LED on
the transmitter does not light up.
•
Check the batteries in the transmitter.
•
Check the polarity of the batteries in the transmitter.
•
Check the on/off switch.
LED on the transmitter flashes and the
transmitter emits alarm sounds.
•
Check or replace the batteries in the transmitter.
The model does not react; the LED on
the quadrocopter flashes.
•
Check the function of the remote control transmitter.
•
Perform the quadrocopter switch on sequence again.
Propellers do not start.
• Check the charge state of the flight battery.
• Charge the flight battery again for testing purposes.
The quadrocopter tilts to the side on
start-up.
•
Repeat the switch on sequence of the quadrocopter and do not move
the model while doing so.
•
Check the ease of movement of the drive motor.
•
Calibrate the position sensors.
The quadrocopter has too low a perfor-
mance or too short a flight time.
• Check the charge state of the flight battery.
• Charge the flight battery again for testing purposes.
• Replace the flight battery with a new one.
The quadrocopter always flies in one
direction.
•
Adjust the trim on the transmitter.
• Unfavourable flight conditions (wind or draughts)
•
Calibrate the position sensors.
Quadrocopter reacts very sluggishly to
the control commands.
•
Switch to sport or expert mode
The monitor in the FPV goggles is not
bright enough.
•
Charge the battery in the FPV goggles
The FPV goggles show no image.
•
Change the video frequency on the FPV goggles.
•
Change the video transmission frequency on the quadrocopter.
•
Change location and try the video transmission again.
