“Trigger” group
By selecting a trigger event it is defined when and under which condi-
tions data display starts. During this process the trigger signal itself
does not need to be displayed on the scope.
The signal data flow is cached similar to a storage oscilloscope. The
display window uses this cache. This feature makes it possible to define
the start of the scope output window prior to the actual trigger event and
to output data on the trigger event before the memory is overwritten
again by the signal flow.
