Adjusting the brake position
The brakes can be adapted to different types of wheels.
To set the correct distance from the brake to the tire:
•
Loosen the 2 screws (3) fixing the brake to the frame.
•
Move the brake backwards or forwards to set it in the correct
position while maintaining the handle angle (4)
•
Then tighten the 2 screws (3).
•
Check the brake force again. The wheels should not rotate,
while the brakes close and open without much effort.
14.2.3. Footrest
Standard footrest (aluminum)
•
The footrest cannot be removed for use - it is an integral part of the main frame of the stroller - closes and
stiffens the frame..
•
The footrest has height adjustment. If the wheelchair is used outside, the footrest should be positioned so that
their feet are at least 4-5 cm from the ground.
WARNING! It is forbidden to stand on the footrest. Risk of overturning / overweighting the wheelchair.
To adjust the height of the footrest:
•
Loosen and remove th screw (1) holding the nut (2). Do the same on the other side of the wheelchair.
•
Adjust the height of the footrest by moving it (3) up and down and set the holes in external and internal tubes of
footrest
Reinstall and tighten the screw (1) and nut (2). Do the same on the other side of the wheelchair
