If face shields are not used, they should be largely
protected from light and kept dry in smoke-tight
rooms. When storing, make sure that the visors are
not touching the ground to avoid scratches.

In case of discolored, strongly scratched visors
or if visors containing stucked particles, the face
shields must be replaced. This also applies if the
face shields are otherwise damaged, or if the
fixation screws can no longer be tightened
sufficiently to allow safe and secure positioning
of the visor.
