Low Vision module (as an option)

When adding the low vision module as an option, you can upgrade your VOX

box to 

a two-in-one system that combines reading with magnifying. The low vision module 

consists of a mouse, a HDMI cable, USB interface and a USB dongle. You need the 

USB dongle in order to activate the low vision functions.

Connection of a monitor

When connecting a monitor to VOX

box,

your documents can be displayed even in 

magnification modes on that external screen. 

 

Connect a monitor via HDMI cable (not included 

  in the scope of delivery) with the HDMI port of 

  the VOX

box.

USB interface

The integrated USB interface offers up to 4 ports.

 

Connect the Mouse and the Dongle with the 

  USB-interface.

 

Connect the power cable with a wall socket  

  and turn the system ON.

 

Press the blue ON/OFF button at the side  

  of the operating board in order to boot the 

  VOX

box. After approx. 40 seconds the

  system is ready for operation. 

 

 

Note:

 When upgrading VOX

box with

  the optional low vision module, you need 

  to connect the USB interface with the 

  USB output of VOX

box.

Low vision functions - Display on Screen

(Only active, after having purchased the optionally available low vision module.)

Column recognition ON/OFF

Determine the colomn recognition prior to scanning a document. The automatic  

colomn recognition can be turned ON and OFF. 

 

Press control 5 at the operating board and select 

  the menu option column recognition.

 

By pressing the parametric backwards and 

  forwards keys, you turn the column 

  recognition either ON or OFF.
