It is important to use the iLIGHT
®
Elite Hair
Removal System properly. Make sure that
you follow all the
WARNINGS
, and that you
DO NOT
use the device if it is not right for
you. If you do not understand any of the
WARNINGS
, or have any questions, please
contact Customer Service.
If you use the device as directed, the risks
are low:
• Most users reported mild to moderate
discomfort from treatments. This is
normal. After flashing the skin, you
may feel warmth, burning, tingling or
itching that may result in discomfort. If
the discomfort is too intense or persists
after a treatment, stop use of the device
and contact Customer Service.
• Your skin may become red within 24
hours after treatment. This redness
generally clears up within a few hours.
If the redness does not go away within
2-3 days, contact Customer Service.
• You may develop temporary blisters,
although these are unlikely. If you
develop a blister, stop using the
device, clean the blister, cover it with
a bandage, and change daily to help
prevent the blister from becoming
infected. If you need more information,
contact Customer Service.
• In rare cases, an outbreak of cold sores
may develop in the area(s) treated that
have a history of cold sores. The cold
sores should heal within 5-7 days. If
the cold sores do not heal after 7 days,
contact Customer Service.
Risks
• If you notice that your skin tone in the
treatment area has changed, stop using
the device and contact
Customer Service.
• Flashing any laser or IPL device near
or around the eyes could cause serious
and permanent eye injury. This is very
unlikely as long as the device is used
as indicated. When treating near or
around the eyes, use proper safety
eyewear. Proper safety eyewear
includes eye shields used for tanning
beds and Intense Pulsed Light lenses
for full shield glasses. Both are readily
available through the internet.
